Ballantrae jubilee beacon

On Monday, June 4, at 10.15pm the Ballantrae beacon will be lit as part of the network of beacons celebrating the Queen’s diamond jubilee, on the shore at Shellknowe.

Prior to this, starting at 8pm, there will be a barbecue in the grounds of BRICC house on the Main Street.

All welcome.

On Friday, June 8, at 7.06am, we will be welcoming the Olympic torch to Ballantrae. It will be run through the village by three local people. All are welcome to cheer it on its way and after to breakfast. Come to this historic occasion.
