Maybole manse makes national press

AN executive Maybole home has attracted national exposure as a design feature in Scotland on Sunday’s At Home supplement.

Kincraig, at 40 Culzean Road, Maybole, was selected as the latest home to be featured in the publication’s “interiors” section.

The former Victorian manse – believed to have once belonged to Cargill Church, which was demolished in the 1950s – has been home to current owner Liz Alexander since 2010 when she and family moved south from Ayr.

Described as “a warm, functional, family-friendly home” with a “lovely, bright, open” kitchen and four bedrooms, the house is on the market for offers over £375,000.

“I have enjoyed three lovely Christmases here with my family but I think I need to downsize,” said Liz.

“I would also like to spend some time travelling. I do love the house and its views, though.”
