EFFORTS to take community control of facilities in Maybole have taken centre stage with the opening of a new town centre office.

Part financed by the Scottish Government, European Community and Ayrshire LEADER 2017-2013 Programme as well as the Big Lottery Fund, the May-Tag Maybole Pathfinder Project has been under way since 2010.

And it recently took a step forward with the opening of its new office at 6-8 School Vennel, with current opening hours from 10am-2pm Tuesday to Thursday.

Ailsa Horizons Ltd are on hand to advise any group, organisation or individual on funding, project advice, constitutions or business plans. They can help, for example, with completing a funding application or help write governing documents or group policies.

The office has wi-fi and a spacious meeting table both of which are available for community groups to use by phoning the office on 01655 718101, emailing Stacy at stacy@ailsahorizons.co.uk or simply dropping in to book a time slot.
