On Thursday 4th June six National 5 Biology pupils from Carrick Academy visited Gardenrose Primary School to assist their primary 4 class with a project on photosynthesis.
They very successfully supported the primary school pupils with their understanding of photosynthesis and helped them create informative posters of to be displayed in their classroom.
The Gardenrose children loved having the Carrick pupils there to support them and, the Carrick pupils developed their mentoring skills to great effect.
The Carrick pupils involved in this visit were Eilidh Andrew, Emily Purdie, Anna Howie, Cara Mundell, Laura Paton and Kimberley Easton.
