Marcie

South Ayrshire Cats Protection are seeking a forever home for a stunning middle aged female called Marcie.

Marcie is around nine years old and a Bengal cat which accounts for her striking looks. She was found very underweight wandering around the countryside near Girvan - she was very domesticated but her and her brother hand obviously been fending for themselves (barely!) for some time. Marcie is very glad to be getting warmth, food and TLC again and is very affectionate. In fact she needs to be the only pet in the house so she can get all the cuddles - she is much happier as an individual rather than when kept with her brother Maxwell who is identical! As with all our cats, Marcie has had a full health check, wormed/deflead, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped - just in need of a family of her own. If you think Marcie would make the perfect addition to your family please contact the office on 08453 714216. Abandoned kittens, and pregnant mummy cats are starting to take over all SACP resources at the minute and the sad fact is whilst many homes want them at the moment, in a few years time many of these cute kittens will be rehomed again for a wide variety of reasons. Please remember a cat is for life and should be neutered as early as 16 weeks old to prevent many health problems and to help make a difference to the “social” problem. Vouchers towards the cost of neutering are available from the SACP office.
