Party-goers can enjoy a whisky and wine tasting evening to blow the winter blues away.

The tasting will be held in the historic stone barn at Dalduff Farm, near Crosshill on Saturday, November 1. Visitors will have the chance to taste fine whiskies and wines and to place orders to see them though Christmas and the festive season.

They can also enjoy scrumptious canapes from the Dalduff Farm kitchen, a raffle, the chance to buy Christmas Cards and enjoy the great atmosphere of the barn - all for the benefit of the charity Save the Children.

The whiskies will be provided by A.D. Rattray’s Whisky Experience shop from Kirkoswald and the wine by Jane’s Delicatessan, Maybole. The event has been organised by Maybole Save the Children branch.

Maybole branch chair Becky Fleming, said: “This should be a great night out for all to enjoy, while supporting a good cause that is helping children in Scotland and across the world.”

Tickets cost £15 and can be bought by phoning 01655 882106
