Mrs Nancy Thom, President welcomed members to the McCosh Hall for the February meeting.
The meeting commenced in the usual manner with singing the Rural song, accompanied by Helen Dorn.
Secretary Margaret Thomson read the minutes of the January meeting and accepted apologies.
Nancy then introduced Mr Peter Conlan from Pebbles Spa & Leisure, Lendlefoot who gave a most interesting talk on all the facilities they have and encouraged everyone to try and do a little exercise as often as possible. They also have a coffee shop and Bistro which he encouraged members to visit anytime.
Due t lack of numbers for the joint outing with Straiton WRI it was agreed that there would be no outing this year.
Tickets were on sale for the Federation whist drive to be held in Dalrymple Community Centre on 3rd March.

Helen Stevenson was congratulated on being in the winning team of the Ayrshire Federation Curling Competition.
Margaret Murray, hostess for the evening proposed a vote of thanks to Peter for his most enjoyable talk.
The March meeting is a talk by Jenny McLean on Parkinson’s.
The competitions 1/4lb of tablet & a bowl of bulbs.
After tea had been served the raffle was drawn. Nancy closed the meeting.
