The Scottish SPCA is seeking a peaceful home for a nervous Rhodesian ridgeback cross who has been overlooked for over 150 days.
Mischa, who is between five and nine years old, has been rejected by potential owners since she came into the care of the charity’s Ayrshire centre in April.
Centre Manager Marion Hainey said, “Mischa is an absolute pleasure to have around when she is indoors and settled. However, as soon as she is outdoors and hears any strange noises, she becomes completely overwhelmed and lies down, too scared to move. Unexpected sounds give her such a fright and send her into overdrive, so much so that she constantly looks to us for comfort.
“Mischa would like a new home without young children or pets so she can spend lots of one on one time with her new owner and build up her confidence.”
