First charity quiz night at Nestle

Nestle had their first charity quiz night in aid of their chosen charity Action for Children on Friday 7th March 2014 in the Catholic Hall.

Nestle raised £331.68 on the night and there were joint winners who split the £100 prize money who were “The Village People” and “Ninja Death Squad”, both scoring 59 out of 100.

The quiz was put together by one of our Nestlé employees Michael Keates.

There was also a raffle on the night with the star prize being a 22” HD LCD tele won by Alan Smith. Nestle also had a large Easter egg from Betty’s Tearooms in York won by Les Hibbins and a giant 3kg KitKat was won by Andy Muir.

The Royal hotel provided the bar on the night and also donated a buffet. A great night was had by all and a big thanks from Nestle to all who came along and supported our event and to those that donated raffle prizes and helped on the night also.
