Girvan Folk club opens its Spring/Summer programme by welcoming back musician Steve Turner to the club on Friday 25th March
Singer and concertina player Steve retuned to the folk scene in 2004 after a 12 year absence and has spent the last 12 years re establishing himself as one of the premier performers on the folk circuit today.
His fifth 2008 album The Whirligig of Time was long listed for the 2008 BBC folk awards and his reviews have described him as a superb musician with a supremely confident style and delivery.
The concert kicks off at 8.30pm in the Queen’s hotel Girvan with tickets priced £6 available at the door.
