Fun day success for TKS martial arts group

TKS Martial Arts recently competed at the Edinburgh Open and came first in five categories.

They collected a total of 13 medals with the top performer on the day the youngest competitor, Filip Przybysz, who won two first places and a Silver Medal.

Next up for the tournament team the Senior Members will travel to Aberdeen on 31st April for the WKC Aberdeen Open, while the Junior Members will travel to Livingston on 1st May to compete at an Inter Club Tournament.

TKS also held their first Easter Funday on Sunday 3rd April at Maybole Town Hall.

TKS Students were sponsored by friends and families to take part in a number of activities throughout the event, from Cycling to Burpees.The students, ranging from 3-16 years old, cycled for just over 26 miles, walking eight miles and running 15 miles, raising over £1600.
