Ayr Spice’s widely varied winter season continued on Friday 22nd November when Mafiz Ali himself presented a foretaste of his new “Healthy Option” meals and also demonstrated how he cooks them.
There will be a re-scheduled guest chef evening on Tuesday December 3rd when Glasgow’s new hot tip, the excellent Spanish chef, Guillermo de la Orden of the Malaga Tapas will provide an evening on which those who love Spain can indulge their nostalgic dreams of holidays in the sun with authentic Spanish food and Flamenco dancing right here in South Ayrshire – a unique opportunity as the area has no Spanish restaurant.
Guillermo will also demonstrate how he cooks his food.
On Tuesday December 14th, a special Christmas Carol event by candle-light will be held around the Christmas tree.
Girvan Primary School’s children’s choir will perform and there will be traditional, community carol-singing.
After that it is into the pre-Christmas party season and there will be three events – one a bargain, three-course meal for only £9.95 celebrating Friday the 13th!
And the other two with entertainment (Lounge Lizards Band on Saturday 14th and Karaoke on Friday 20th)).
The programme for 2013 concludes with a special Christmas treat and a Hogmanay celebration with a full programme of entertainment from 9pm until 1am.
The Bollywood Evening scheduled for December 6th has had to be cancelled.
