Join in jubilee tree plant

The Woodland Trust is giving everyone across the UK the chance to be part of something big and come together to help transform communities for future generations by helping to plant a million trees in February 2012.

The Woodland Trust conservation charity has set itself the ambitious task of planting a million trees during February to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

It will be part of part of a year of tree planting that will see 6 million trees planted across the UK as part of the Trust’s Jubilee Woods project.

The winter months are the best time of year to plant trees, when they are dormant and the ground is full of moisture to give them a good start before the summer.
