Linda debuts with Mozart’s Requiem

International Mezzo-soprano Linda Finnie will make her debut with the celebrated English conductor John Gibbons in a performance of Mozart’s Requiem.

The performance takes place in Thame, Oxfordshire, on Saturday 19th March.

Linda also recently made her debut with the Edinburgh Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gerry Doherty in a performance of Kindertotenlieder by Gustav Mahler last month.

The performance took place in historic Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh in the all Mahler programme,

Blumine and the First Symphony were also performed.

John Gibbons has conducted over 40 acclaimed opera productions including an array of Italian operas at Opera Holland Park and has been Principal Conductor of West Sussex’s professional orchestra – Worthing Symphony Orchestra - for over a decade.

John’s provocative and stimulating programming has successfully introduced many rarities from around the world in programmes balanced with popular classics that are attractive to the ordinary concert goer.

John has enjoyed a fascinating career that continues to provoke and stimulate.
