Mini adventure for Crosshill guides

First Crosshill Guides have been on a “Mini Adventure” thanks to a £1,000 grant from “Cashback For Communities” and also a Bag Pack at Asda, Girvan.

The Guides and their Leaders travelled with Instructors from the Adventure Centre for Education to the Galloway Activity Centre, at Loch Ken.

Activities included a fun canoeing session with ACE on Loch Ken with a spot of fishing for “Crayfish”; an overnight camp with a campfire, and an exciting session on the “Wobbly Water Park”. They even managed a couple of games of football with a unit of Beavers who were also camping.

The girls had a wonderful time, challenging themselves while enjoying the great outdoors.

1st Crosshill Guides are extremely grateful to Cashback For Communities for making it possible and to ACE for accompanying them.
