TV Preview: Jonathan Ross puts 007 in focus

On Saturday evening two long running franchises are featured in the evening’s entertainment.

But who would have expected James Bond to be on earlier in the evening than Doctor Who? At 6.30 on ITV, Jonathan Ross, a life-long James Bond fan will be hosting the show he has long wanted to do. The reason this is screening now is because the latest Bond epic – Spectre – is out on October 26. Already its title music sung by Sam Smith has went to number one and no doubt the film will go to the top of the film charts also! It is the fourth film to feature Daniel Craig as Bond and if what he has recently said is correct, then it could be his final film as 007. Jonathan will be interviewing Craig as well as co-stars including Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Andrew Scott and Naomie Harris. The programme will look back at some of the earlier Bond films and focus on the gadgets, the villains, the cars and the female guest stars. Viewers will also be given a chance of seeing behind the scenes footage from locations in Mexico, Morocco, Austria, Rome and London. A true celebration of Bond.
