LOVED-UP festival-goers are being given the chance to propose to their partners in style at this summer’s Wickerman Festival.

On the week of Valentine’s Day, to celebrate the growing number of proposals and marriages that take place at the Festival, organisers are launching a new initiative to help smitten fans propose.

On February 14, appropriately enough, Wickerman start a competition which will offer music-loving romantics the opportunity to pop the question to their partner in a new Wicker Love Lounge – a luxury handcrafted on-site yurt created especially for this summer’s event.

Proposing partners will be able to seal the deal with bespoke wicker promise rings and a wicker kneeling stool to pop the question, both of which will be handcrafted by the Wickerman craftsman.

Wild flowers, celebratory champagne, a dedicated love lounge host and a personalised playlist will all make the moment extra special. To win one of the 12 ‘Wicker Love Lounge’ slots, which will take place between 5pm and 7pm on both days of the June festival, entrants must submit 100 words on how they met their partner and why they want to propose at the Wickerman Festival.

Entries will be accepted from tomorrow (Thursday) to April 14 via wickerlovelounge@burtgreener.co.uk. Successful entrants will be notified by April 30.
