Girvan Youth Trust’s ‘And Beyond’ Project is now recruiting team three!
Girvan Youth Trust are looking for 12 young people (aged between 14 and 20 years old) who can commit to a five month contract working 10 hours per week on a voluntary basis, these hours will be split between working within Z1 Youth Bar and working on projects within Girvan to enhance the local community.
The young people will be given constant 1 to 1 and group support from project co-ordinators throughout the entire project.
Young people who successfully secure a place on the project will attend various training courses including food hygiene, customer care and first aid, develop and build on life skills, and gain work experience. All young people who complete the project will be eligible for a performance related award of between £750 and £1000.

Closing date for applications is Monday 1st April at 4pm, applications received after this time will not be considered. Every young person who returns their application on time will be invited to Z1 for an informal chat and all successful young people will be required to start their 5 month placement in mid-April.
