‘999’ box for Africa appeal

A “999” PO Box has been set up by Royal Mail to speed donations to the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal in aid of those affected by the crisis in East Africa.

Donations can be sent by post to: DEC East Africa Crisis Appeal, PO Box 999, LONDON, EC3A 3AA

Cheques sent by post should be made payable to DEC East Africa Crisis Appeal.

Cheque or cash donations can be made at Post Office branches by simply asking to make a donation to the East Africa Crisis Appeal. Donations made by cheque at Post Office branches must be made payable to Post Office Ltd.

Credit and debit card donations can also be made through the Disasters Emergency Committee by phoning 0370 60 60 900, or on the website www.dec.org.uk <http://www.dec.org.uk/> .
