AN elderly Maybole man died after being knocked down last Saturday.
Samuel McBride, 75, of Crosne Street, Maybole was struck by a vehicle at the pedestrian crossing at Cassillis Road, Maybole.
The accident occured around 8pm on Saturday, November 14 .
Mr McBride was taken to Ayr Hospital, however he secumbed to his injuries a short time later.
A 49-year-old male from Ayr is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the incident.
