Barrhill primary pupils are Burns winners

Pupils at Barrhill Primary took part in a Burns Poetry Competition that was kindly judged by Alistair Sykes & Andrew Gillon from the Barr Burns Club.

The winning pupils received a Waterstones voucher to spend on a book of their choice. Iona Thomson was the overall winner on the day with the performance of Willie Wastle.

She was presented with the trophy and will have her name engraved in it.

Thanks to the Barr Burns Club for gaining support from Carrick Futures for this fabulous day.
