Barrhill school poster winners are celebrating

Just before Xmas the children at Barrhill Primary took part in a competition in the school to design a poster.

The poster could be used by the Barrhill Community Council to emphasise the need for people in the village to support the community survey, which is now underway.

Barrhill Community Council has agreed to update the Community Action Plan (CAP), which was originally produced in 2008. Consultants are carrying out a community wide survey and interviews, which will lead to the production of the Community Action Plan for the village.

The kids posters are being used to remind local residents to fill in their questionnaires and submit them by Saturday 23rd January.

The winner and the runner up from the school will be presented with book tokens by the consultancy company.

The consultants, along with local Barrhill organisations, will be available in the Barrhill Memorial Hall on Saturday 23rd January between 10am and 3.30pm to collect any remaining forms or help people to complete the questionnaire, offer any advice, or discuss any issues relating to the village and the Community Action Plan.

Coffee, Tea, soft drinks and biscuits will be served.
