Brunston Castle golfers have received a double boost in their efforts to save their club.
Boost No 1 – came when the liquidators told them they could continue to play golf over the Dailly course while a new owner is sought.
Boost No 2 – arrived with the news that the owner of the land on which the course is built has agreed to waive the rent while the future is being sorted out.
It’s great news for the committee of the embattled club, who have been making strenuous efforts to keep their members playing since the announcement, before Christmas, that the facility was going into liquidation.
