The Carrick 800 club are planning a battle re-enactment day on Saturday 17 May throughout the area.
And the group are doing it all for a very worthy cause.
All money collected by the group will go to the Girvan Nepal trip fund to help the academy kids going there in the summer.
The group plan to re-enact ten battles, setting off from Girvan Academy at around 10am before travelling through nine other villages in the area.
They are Maidens, Kirkoswald, Dailly, Barr, Pinwherry, Colmonell, Ballantrae, Lendalfoot and Barrhill.
The idea is that whilst re-enacting each of the battles for around 20 minutes is that crowds will be able to donate money to the Girvan Nepal cause at the same time.
The group have being going since 1986 and are hugely skilled at what they do.
They should return to the Academy at around ten past three.
