The Carrick Opportunities Centre in Girvan is offering you the chance to take part in two vital training courses.
On Friday 27 September you can undergo the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland’s food hygiene certificate. Food hygiene training is now a legal requirement for all food handlers and catering staff. The course costs £60 which includes all catering, tuition,course handbook, registration, exam fees and certificate. It is on from 9am-4.30pm.
The second course takes place on Monday 30 September and is an emergency first aid at work course. All employers have a duty to ensure employees receive immediate attention if they fall ill or get injured at work.
This one day course will improve your basic first aid knowledge and will provide you with a health and safety executive certificate for three years. This course costs £85 and runs from 9am-4.30pm.
