Christmas is coming to Carrick this weekend as the festive season gets into full swing.

It’s the Girvan Street Party and Christmas street light switch-on this Sunday with lots of fun to be had for all the family.

The fun kicks off in Dalrymple Street from 3pm on Sunday, 27 November with the party atmosphere going through until 5.30pm. Enjoy the stalls, kids rides (all capped at £1), street entertainers, carol singers, Santa’s grotto and much more. A food collection is also being taken for South Ayrshire foodbank.

Maybole Christmas lights switch-on is in Maybole town centre from 6-7pm on Friday, November 25.

A Torchlight Procession will leave Carrick Academy at 6pm. Everyone is welcome to join in the parade, bring your torches and lanterns. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Christmas Lights will be switched on at 6:30pm! Sunday 27th November 2016 sees Santa arriving at Ayr Central when his Magical Grotto opens. Grotto open everyday from 27 November to Christmas Eve.

Make sure you put in your request to Santa when he sets up in his magical Christmas grotto in Ayr Central. Pre-book tickets now for just £6.00 per child (plus booking fee), which includes a free gift.
