Christmas message from Adam Ingram MSP

With Christmas now just around the corner, I would like to thank the Carrick Gazette for giving me this opportunity to send a message to my constituents across the local area.

This time of year gives us the chance to reflect upon the previous twelve months, to remember the good times and the bad and to think about how we can make next year better. 2011 has brought many challenges for households throughout the local area and I hope that the festive period will give you a chance to both relax and celebrate. It has been a truly historic year with the SNP winning a landslide at the Holyrood elections in May and my own personal victory in gaining the Carrick, Cumnock & Doon Valley seat. It is a privilege to serve as your constituency MSP.

Since my election as the constituency MSP in May many of you have sought my help and advice on a wide variety of concerns and issues and I would urge you to continue to do so. For those who may require my assistance in the future, please do not hesitate in contacting me. I have enjoyed being out and about in the constituency meeting local groups and projects and taking part in a schools visitation programme. Everyone has made me feel very welcome and it’s great to see the good work that is going on in the local area. Whatever you have planned for the holidays, I hope all of you enjoy spending time with family and friends and that your festive celebrations are happy and relaxing. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
