More than 80 individuals including local providers of social care and support services came together to celebrate a success.

Self-Directed Support (SDS) is a new approach which gives individuals greater choice and control over the care they receive.

SDS has been operational for 12 months and delegates at the event heard about the innovative approaches being delivered in South Ayrshire.

Participants also considered the best ways to develop local care and support provision in the years ahead.
