Council tax frozen in south Ayrshire

COUNCIL tax will be frozen in South Ayrshire again this year as South Ayrshire councillors became last week one of the first in Scotland to agree a budget for next year.

There will be investment this year in the future of young people and an extra £1 million for roads.

Girvan and south Carrick will be given £500,000 from this year’s budget towards regeneration.
