St Cuthbert’s Primary School, Maybole, held a Curriculum for Excellence event in the school last week.
Parents and pupils were invited and had the opportunity to take part in three workshops delivered by staff.
The positive comments of parents demonstrated that they found the evening enjoyable, informative and helpful in strengthening the parental partnership which all staff strive to promote in St Cuthbert’s.
Comments included, “I enjoyed being able to see how my children are being taught at school, through the presentations and opportunity to talk with their teachers.”
“There is much more fun involved in learning.”
“What I have found helpful was knowing that the teacher can check progress on Education City and Bug Club when used as part of the homework grid.”
After the success of the evening staff are already consulting with parents to plan future events this session.
