A youngster from Dailly has helped to raise hundreds of pounds for a children’s cancer charity.

Seventeen year old Lauren Jeffrey took the brave step of having her long hair cut off in order to raise money for CLIC Sargent, as her family have been helped out by the charity in the past.

Lauren ended up raising the superb sum of £600 for the charity after having her hair cut off in Dailly Community Centre on Wednesday 9 April.
