Education awards launched

LOCAL SNP MSP Adam Ingram is calling on nominations for this year’s Scottish Education Awards. The 2012 awards have been officially launched and, once again, the event promises to be a highlight of the Scottish education calendar. The award ceremony will take place in summer.

To nominate, browse through the list of nomination categories and criteria and then complete the nomination form.

Mr Ingram said:

“Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley has been very successful in previous years and I have no doubt that we have many talented individuals and groups who would be ideal candidates for this years awards.

“This is a chance to have hard work and dedication recognised nationally and I would like to take this opportunity to encourage as many local schools, pupils, teachers, school staff and supporters to nominate now.

Nominations close on Friday 2 March 2012.
