ALL roads will lead to Ayr market on Saturday as the town holds a Grand Auction and Family Fun Day.
This is one the popular Year of Agri-Culture events being organised to celebrate the Ayrshire Hospice’s forthcoming 25th anniversary year.
There will be lots of fun for all the family – face painting, Magic Malky and bouncy castles for the children; shopping stalls and demonstrations; valuation and virtual stockjudging competitions; and lots of games and competitions for all ages. Drinks and snacks will also be available.
The day’s main event will be the Grand Auction - there are already a variety of auction items pledged including sheep, cattle, chickens (complete with a coop), walking sticks and other agricultural equipment which will appeal to the rural community – but also a cheese hamper, riding lessons, toys, a round of golf, Chinese rug, football tickets, a gallon of whisky and more to appeal to anyone.
The fun starts at 11am on Saturday September 15 at Ayr market.
