Further push for Girvan Youth Trust’s toy raffle

The Girvan Youth Trust's toy raffle has once again proved popular.
The Girvan Youth Trust's toy raffle has once again proved popular.

Girvan Youth Trust is urging people to continue to buy toy raffle tickets to help put a smile on kids faces in the area this Christmas.

The organisation will be selling tickets in the foyer of ASDA from 10am-4pm on Wednesday 10th December and Thursday 11th December and you can also purchase tickets from any place in Girvan which has the toy raffle posters in their window.

The picture above shows the fantastic response the youth trust have had so far to this years appeal and they are urging every adult to part with £1 for the raffle ticket and to donate a prize to ensure children in need are provided with gifts this Christmas.

The money raised will also go to help local youth projects in the town and the youth trust say everyone who buys a ticket will have the satisfaction of knowing that they have provided a child with the real magic of Christmas.

The draw is set to be made on Friday 19th December so there is still plenty of time for individuals, shops and businesses to get involved in any way they can to help a project which was started up in 2011 and has since raised £5,791 for community projects and also helped deliver 280 toys for Children to open on Christmas morning.
