Gala week get underway in Maybole

Maybole Gala Week gets underway on Sunday 21st June with a church service at Crossraguel Abbey at 3pm organised by the Council of Churches.

On Thursday 25th June it’s the Gala quiz to be held in Carrick Sports Club, Maybole at 7.30pm. Teams of four people, can be from organisations, family or friends.

On Saturday 27th June the Gala Parade leaves Carrick Academy at 1pm. Maybole Pipe Band will lead the parade from Carrick Academy via Kirkoswald Road, Whitehall and High Street to Glebe Park.

Then there’s Fun at the park with various stalls, hot food, funfair, Maybole Pipe Band, Dancers, Pet Show, Races, Pony Rides,Live Music and much more.

Almost 30 stalls have been booked, many of which will be run by local groups. The tiles saved from the demolished Cooperative building will also be on display.
