GIRVAN residents are being warned to be vigilant following thefts in the Henrietta Street area.
Overnight on September 23-24 around £2000-worth of alcohol, power tools, and a four person inflatable hot tub were stolen from an address in the area.
A similar incident occured overnight on Thursday, when bolt-cutters were used to gain entry into a shed.
PC Craig O’Neill of Girvan Police Office said enquiries are ongoing, and advised homeowners to make sure belongings are secured and move anything valuable indoors.
Any suspicious behaviour should be reported to Girvan Police Office at 4 Montogomerie Street, or by calling 01465 715314.
