A hit wrestling show is set to make a return to Maybole’s Town Hall in January following success earlier this year.

Premier British Wrestling (PBW)’s show in January had standing room only as fans saw Maybole’s own Tam ‘The Ram’ McGill team up with Billy Hall to defeat the more heralded Saqib Ali and TJ Rage.

And now Tam is on the bill again as PBW bring another night of entertaining wrestling to the town hall on Friday June 26.

The first two matches were announced by PBW last week with Tam set to take on Aaron Echo in the singles competition. The pair are both up and coming stars of PBW’s Barrhead Academy and fans can expect a high quality and close match.

The other match announced so far will see former PBW tag team champion Davy Blaze take on rising star Lucha DS, who has graduated from PBW’s Greenock Academy.

Lucha has recently appeared on ITV’s Ninja Warrior and a win over the experienced Davy Blaze would be a real boost to his credentials.

Further matches are to be announced with event organiser Ross Watson hoping an international wrestler will be competing on the night.

He said: “I am really looking forward to bringing PBW back to Maybole this month. The crowd was fantastic when we ran our last event in January.

“We have a cracking show lined up and all going well I should be announcing an international wrestler shortly who will be making his PBW debut at the show.”

Fans can keep updated on any further announcements for the Maybole show on PBWWrestling.com as well as in the Carrick Gazette.

Tickets are priced only £10 and are already on sale from Simpsons Bakery in Maybole’s High Street and from www.ringsideworld.co.uk. Doors open at 7pm on the night for a 7.30pm start.

Other results in January included Kenny Williams beating Aaron Echo, BT Gunn defeating Davy Blaze and Lucha DS winning against Scott Maverick.
