THE issue of motorists parking in front of Girvan’s new community hospital has been raised at a meeting of the NHS public partnership forum.
Girvan community council heard last week that complaints had been made about motorists parking in the drop-off zone.
There is minimal signage in the area with only one small sign indicating that there is no parking.
This means that many out-patients and infirm persons were unable to be dropped off outside the hospital.
The NHS community liaison officer is now looking into the matter.
