If you do, then you’ve had some sort of connection with Girvan Scout Group, possibly as a leader, parent, committee member or as a youth member. Maybe you were one of Una’s Boys?
Girvan Scout Hall, in Glendoune Street, has been done up in a major refurbishment programme, thanks to three Ayrshire funding bodies and a lot of hard work by local firms and volunteers.
Money from Ayrshire LEADER paid for the revived Jungle Book scene which occupies a whole wall inside the annexe. The original, painted in 1994 by Karen Sloan, had become a bit jaded having suffered some unfortunate wear and tear over the years.
