There is delight among the staff at Brunston Wynd LLP this week after they learned that they won a prestigious award.

The team at Brunston Wynd LLP at Brunston Castle have won a Zoover award for the best accomodation for a bungalow in the whole of Scotland.

A Zoover award is the Dutch equivalent of Trip Adviser and Jan Bosklopper who has run Brunston Wynd LLP for the last two years with wife Joann spoke of his pride at receiving the top accolade.

He said: “We are absolutely delighted at this success.

“It was a very big surprise as although we have been working hard we didn’t expect it.

“It was actually friends of ours from back home in the Netherlands that saw it on the internet and called us and asked have you seen Zoover?, so it was even more of a surprise.”

Jan puts the success down to the customer service that is provided at Brunston Wynd.

“We are always there for the people staying with us, the rooms are always clean and we’re here to help from 8am-11pm with anything guests need help with,” added Jan.

“Even during the night we are helping out our guests with issues.

“And we aren’t time share, we suit to our customer needs, we are very flexible as to when people can book up for a certain number of nights.”

The award was voted on by people who have stayed at resorts across Scotland who rated their experience in a number of categories and Brunston Wynd came out on top.

Jan continued: “Our 28 cottages are fully booked out for the next month which is fantastic.

“The standards set here by Joann and I are really high and we are really proud of our team.

“We hire local staff from Dailly and they know have to follow the rules which they do very well.

“There is a great team morale here and we are always open to ideas from members of staff which is why I think we do so well.

“I’ve always had a saying that if I’m good to the staff then they are going to be good for me.”
