Carrick police confiscate cannabis

GIRVAN police officers have seized a quantity of class B drugs from two South Carrick incidents.

On Thursday February 14 police attended the harbour carpark area of Girvan, where three Girvan men aged 18, 19 and 20 were found in possession of a small amount of cannabis. They have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

The following afternoon officers confiscated a substantial amount of the same drug from a 21-year-old man in Ballantrae. The man, from Stranraer, was caught when police stopped his vehicle.
