DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME: The 'superman bike jump'

Motorsport fans in Ayrshire will have the chance to see one of the fastest growing events in Europe on home turf next week as the Extreme Stunt Show comes to Ayr.

This year’s show began touring last week, and will take in more than 140 towns before its final date in September. The Extreme Stunt Show Arena is home to all the favourites, including monstrous trucks Extreme and Lil’ Devil (Guinness World Record). Drivers Glen Wise and Mark Glover will show audiences how to handle a 2000 plus horse powered mammoth machine, while their motocross-madmen teammates show of their own skills.

Gary Taylor and Josh Grindrod will reach new heights as they perform their death defying FMX stunts, while Abby Baker the Trouble Maker will pull off her own car crashes, roll overs and t-bones and commentator Jez Avery - himself a Guiness World Record holder - keeps the crowd entertained.

An Extreme Stunt Show spokesman said: “Our trained professionals are typical showman. Ignoring all fundamental forces and defying gravity, these guys will be flying through fire, jumping ramp to ramp on quads and buggies and putting anything with four wheels onto two wheels. What are you waiting for, come and join other like-minded extremists and witness the unimaginable!”

The Extreme Stunt Show will be held at Ayr Racecourse on July 26 and 27. Tickets cost £12 (£6 concession or £30 family ticket) and can be booked online or by calling 07729 444395. For more information visit www.extremeeventseurope.com
