Girvan FC launch £5 Buy A Brick Campaign to become community club

Ambitious plans announced by Girvan FC this week give you the chance to be a part of the club’s history.

That’s because they have started up a Buy a Brick campaign as part of their proposals to become a true community club in the town.

The Buy a Brick Campaign gives you an opportunity to have your name put on the clubhouse wall on a plaque and become part of the club’s history for just £5.

Simply visit www.buyabrickcampaign.webs.com to find out more information and to buy your brick.

The club will use the funds raised to redevelop the changing rooms, build a new officials’ area, a new first aid/treatment room and also increase the covered area for spectators.

Club chairman Tam McCreadie said: “Girvan Football Club is about to embark on an exciting chapter in its history.

“With the help of the community we can realise Hamilton Park’s full potential and truly become a community club that all groups of the community can rightly be proud of and use.

“Phase one is about to start with our Buy a Brick campaign and send us on our, and your, journey to becoming a first class community facility.

“It won’t stop there as we have plans to replace our current pitch with an artificial surface along with a synthetic running track allowing us to bring revenue from rentals to invest in further improving Hamilton Park.

“We want to involve and engage the community to join us and also invite local businesses to get behind these exciting plans .

“These will enable Hamilton Park to be utilised not just on a Saturday, but all week.

“If you are a business and you would like to help please contact us through our main website at www.girvanfc.co.uk or at www.buyabrickcampaign.webs.com.”

And he concluded: “Why not have your company name on our new facilities?”
