Girvan’s Dalrymple Street was full of Christmas cheer on Friday night.
The annual Street Party in Girvan saw Santa make an appearance with shops and offices open from 6-8pm and a funfair.
This year the Snow King and Queen were chosen from local primary schools and helped turn on the Christmas lights in the town.
The evening featured a range of entertainments from music by Girvan Youth Trust to balloon modellers, Punch and Judy and Stiltwalkers!
Children who had made a lantern at school lined the street for Santa’s parade.
There was also a church service at 5.30pm in the Methodist Church.
The event was funded by Carrick Futures and South Ayrshire Council Voluntary Organisations.
