A group of ten hardy souls (plus a dog!) completed a charity climb up Ben Nevis on Sunday 25 May.
The group have so far managed to raise over an astonishing £3,000 and donations are still coming in.
The climb was done in celebration of Cherlene O’Donnell being 10 years in remission from cancer.
Cherlene and her husband Chris would like to thank everyone who took part in the climb, which took them just under seven hours in thankfully dry conditions and also to those who supported them with generous donations.
There is still time to donate at www.justgiving.com/christopherodonnell or at Carrick Bookmakers, the Athletic Tavern or Aroma’s Deli in Girvan’s Dalrymple Street.
Once the final total is counted, the group are planning to donate it between the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and Station 15 at Ayr Hospital.
