Sunday saw the last of the Music on the Prom performances and despite some stormy weather the fun went on at Sacred Heart Church Hall.
The series finished on a high with a performance from the Dalmellington Junior Silver Band.
In addition to being amazing musicians this appearance will complete the jigsaw in that the band were cancelled twice in 2013 due to inclement weather.
Music on the Prom is organised and hosted by Girvan Youth Trust and funded by Awards for All Scotland, Carrick Futures and South Ayrshire Council.
Project manager Bill Logan said: “Girvan Youth Trust would like to thank Carrick Futures, South Ayrshire Council, local businesses, families and the general community for the support given to our summer programme of Children’s Entertainment and Music on the Prom.
“Our Boating Pond programme will continue during both, the Ayrshire and Glasgow September holiday weekends, when it is further hoped to again include some more children’s entertainment and great music.
“The Trust is now in the process of seeking to secure funding which will allow us to launch a new project called ‘A Day at the Seaside’ aimed at continuing to improve the structural appearance, facilities and attractions on the seafront promenade in 2015.
“The competition for funding is of course very competitive and to this end our efforts would be greatly enhanced by the inclusion of any comments or letters of support from the local community. Please send any comments via our facebook, e-mail or in writing to the Z1 Youth Bar.
“Again our thanks and appreciation for all the ongoing and valued support given to the young people of Girvan Youth Trust over the summer.”
