Nestlé Girvan factory recently donated £500 to Girvan Community Garden to improve the paving in the gardens to allow easier access for wheelchair users, prams etc.

Simon McCartney is laying the slabs and Jim McClymont and Ward Higgins are volunteers in the garden and have been helping Simon with the slabs. Julie Campbell volunteer for the gardens expressed her delight on being able to provide easier access to the wider community local and rural areas and expressed a big thank you to Nestle in helping them achieving this.
