Police seek witnesses to collision

POLICE in Girvan are appealing for information about a road traffic collision that occured in Asda car park last week.

At around 2.40pm on Monday August 13 a blue Volkswagon Golf, which was parked in the car park at Asda on Vicarton Street, sustained extensive damage when it was hit by another vehicle.

PC Barclay of Girvan Police Office said: “Local police are keen to speak to the driver of a silver coloured vehicle that was towing a caravan within the car park at that time and a male who entered the store shortly after the incident who may have witnessed it.”
