An application has been submitted by Green Power with South Ayrshire Council to build seven wind turbines at Millenderdale windfarm. The turbines would be situated near the road which links Lendalfoot to Pinmore.
Each turbine would reach a maximum height to blade tip of 125m.
The site is situated 4km to the east of Lendalfoot with the entrance to the site being located 100m east of the A77 at Shalloch Mill.
The proposals are for a 25 year period and Greenpower say that the Millenderdal Wind farm would generate renewable electricity to help meet regional and national demand with each turbine having a power output of between two and three megawatts.
The planning application including the associated documents is available to view at Girvan Library in Montgomerie Street as well as at Burns House in Burns Statue Square in Ayr.
