The sweet science of success

SCHOOL teams from Ayrshire attended Ayr College on Thursday January 25 to compete in the Go4SET Ayrshire Celebration and Assessment Day.

The judges selected Girvan Academy as the winners of the Best Overall Project Award for their outstanding work on the use of biomass as a source of renewable energy and they were presented with a trophy and a cheque for £250 by Marti Anderson, Curriculum Leader for Science at Ayr College.
